AS WE GO THROUGH LIFE, FROM AS FAR BACK AS WE CAN REMEMBER. 
PEOPLE COME INTO OUR LIVES AND PEOPLE GO OUT OF OUR LIVES.
SOME PEOPLE MAKE LASTING IMPRESSIONS, AND SOME DON'T IMPRESS US AT ALL. 

SOME WE CALL FRIENDS, AND SOME ARE ACQUAINTANCES. 
THAN THERE ARE THE ONES THAT YOU DRAW WISDOM FROM. 
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT BECOME SPECIAL TO YOU. 
BECAUSE WISDOM IS SOMETHING THAT CAN ONLY COME FROM EXPERIENCE. 
BREED NOT ONLY HAD WISDOM HE HAD VALUES AND STANDARDS.

  THE KIND OF VALUES, AND THE KIND OF STANDARDS THAT SET HIM APART FROM MOST PEOPLE.
 BREED WAS MY BROTHER AND A MAN OF WISDOM. 
I COULD LOOK AT HIM IN OUR MEETINGS AND KNOW IF WHAT I WAS SAYING WAS OF VALUE AND MEANING.
 
 BREED WAS MY NEW MEMBER AND PROSPECT LIEUTENANT.
 IF YOU GOT PASS BREED YOU WERE GOOD TO GO. 
HIS STANDARDS HIS WISDOM AND HIS BROTHERHOOD WILL BE MISSED. 
BUT HIS WISDOM I HAVE LEARNED FROM AND THAT WILL LIVE ON.

O' GREAT SPIRIT,
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world.
Bear me I am small and weak, I need your Strength and wisdom.

Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.

Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.

Let me learn the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock.

I seek strength, not to be greater then my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy - myself.

Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes.

So when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit may come to you without shame.
